Dr Denis MUKWEGE resigned from the Covid-19 response team A famed Congolese medic who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2018 has resigned from the country's team formed to fight Covid-19. Dr Denis Mukwege said he was quitting a special Commission for fighting Covid-19 in South Kivu, citing lack of facilitation from the government. In a resignation note publicised on Wednesday, Dr Mukwege said the lack of laboratories for testing for the virus had frustrated the team's work. Dan Foster, Ace broadcaster and presenter popularly known as    The Big Dawg  and  Top Dawg  is dead. Dan Foster has reportedly died of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Before his death, Foster has worked with  Cool FM ,  Inspiration FM  , City FM and Classic FM. Foster was brought up with his three siblings in Washington, D.C. by their father – their mother had died when he was ten – but partly raised in Baltimore by his grandmother. Lagos senator, Adebayo Osinowo, is dead

The senator representing Lagos East in the Nigerian Senate, Adebayo Osinowo, popularly called Pepperito, is dead. The federal lawmaker died on Monday, June 15, 2020. A Lagos State government official, who wished to remain anonymous, confirmed that Pepperito died of coronavirus-related complications.
