You Grow Most During Discomfort

N o one talks about the silent battles. The nights you cry yourself to sleep, questioning your worth, wondering if things will ever change. That moment when you lose the job. The breakup you didn’t see coming. The phone call that flips your world upside down.  It’s in those moments—when everything feels uncertain, uncomfortable, even unbearable—that something starts to shift. Not immediately. First, you break a little. You fall apart. You think, ‘Why me?’ But then... quietly, something else shows up. Resilience. Growth doesn’t happen when you're comfortable. Letting Go of Perfectionism

They say “practice makes perfect.” But what if perfect is the very thing holding you back? You tell yourself you’ll start when it’s ready... post when it’s flawless... speak when every word is right. But perfection is a moving target — and it keeps you standing still. Perfectionism hides behind good intentions — “high standards,” “discipline,” “care.” But beneath that? Fear. Fear of being seen. Fear of being enough . Every time you wait for perfect, you teach yourself that you’re not ready yet. But you are. Let go of perfect. Embrace progress. It’s messy, it’s raw, it’s real — but it’s alive. The world doesn’t need your perfection. It needs your authenticity. Your voice. Your courage. Perfection is a cage. Progress is the key. So start where you are. Speak even if your voice shakes. And remember — the goal isn’t to be perfect... It’s to be whole. 🙏 Let go of perfection. Begin again🙏
